Project role: Director and Art Director
The challenge was to create a fashion film about the effects of colonialism and cognitive dissonance. Achieved through the use of camera angles, color grading, set design, styling, casting, location and typography, the film elicits a dreamscape of recollections. ‘Anahuac’ is a film that examines a first-generation Nicaraguan woman who seeks connection through ancestral memories. The film is currently in production with creatives in Miami and globally.
